in the report of application of upflow filter in hengyang chengnan water plant, tang zong of hengyang water investment group co., ltd. made a detailed introduction to the operation of chengnan water plant in the past three years from three aspects of engineering background and general situation, upflow filter process and characteristics and operation effect. general manager tang said: the original filter bed of chengnan water plant was not washed clean, and the hardening of filter materials led to the reduction of treatment capacity and large consumption of backwash water, which greatly affected the water supply capacity of the water plant, making the reconstruction of chengnan water plant imminent. however, there are some difficulties in the whole reconstruction project, such as no water supply for a long time, site restrictions, and tight construction period. through the comparison and selection of various schemes, the upgrading and reconstruction project of chengnan water plant finally adopted the technical solution of upflow filter.

 

in the special report, mr. tang compared the upflow filter and v-type filter from the perspectives of sewage interception, backwash water consumption and floor area, and found that the upflow filter has obvious advantages such as strong sewage interception capacity, small floor area and simple structure. mr. tang stressed that the upflow filter applied in this transformation can still keep the turbidity below 0.3ntu even when the raw water (turbidity < 20ntu) is filtered directly without sedimentation, and the effluent quality and operation cost are much better than other schemes.

the upflow filter technology of shenzhen qingquan is not only suitable for the increase of water plant quality, but also for the improvement of sewage treatment plant quality and efficiency, advanced treatment of industrial park sewage and other fields. wu bo focused on sharing the engineering cases of shenzhen qingquan in the reconstruction of the fifth water plant in urumqi, xinjiang, the expansion of meishan municipal sewage treatment plant in sichuan and the emergency project of shanwei east district sewage treatment plant.

in the fifth water plant reconstruction project of urumqi, xinjiang, siphon filter is transformed into upflow filter. before the reconstruction, the water quality of the effluent could not reach 3ntu stably, and the water volume was 60000 tons / day.  after transformation, the effluent is stable less than 0.5ntu, and the water volume is greatly increased to 100000 tons / day. it is worth mentioning that only 13 million yuan has been invested in the transformation of upflow filter technology, which is two-thirds less than the 46 million yuan of the owner's early budget.

 

for the expansion and upgrading project of meishan municipal sewage treatment plant in sichuan province, the traditional civil structure is adopted, and the original effluent is subject to the first level b standard. the owner requires that the renovation plan shall not damage the green space of the plant area, do not move the original process pipeline of the plant area, and the new operation cost per ton of water shall not exceed 0.30 yuan. the project of biological aerated filter up flow denitrification deep bed filter was adopted in qingquan, shenzhen. no new process structure was added to ensure the original treatment capacity and the stability of the effluent is better than the first level a standard. the actual added operation cost is less than 0.12 yuan.

the emergency project of shanwei east sewage treatment plant is a new project of the whole process, which adopts the intelligent modular standard part product, the core of which is the cbm process combined with cbc baf mdf (up flow denitrification deep bed filter). the whole process has a residence time of only 2.5hr, and the total operation cost is about 0.25 yuan / ton water. in addition to the cbm process of shenzhen qingquan, two sets of treatment processes, oxidation ditch and a2o mbr, have been adopted in shanwei east sewage treatment plant. through the comparison of the three processes, it is found that the cbm process of qingquan, shenzhen, has an advantage in floor area, operation and maintenance cost and investment cost.
